Full Job Description

  • Stillage Stock locations.

  • Goods in checks upon delivery.

  • Breaking down the delivery to stock locations.

  • Locating profile for the factory.

  • Replenishing the Factory stillages & ensuring the production does not run out.

  • Shunting 6m length profiles to stock locations.

  • Forklift inspection checks before use.

  • Reporting Forklift defects to Yard Supervisor.

  • Stock Control.

  • Counting of Stock for Ordering/Stock Take purposes.

  • Be aware of stock levels both low and high and act accordingly.

  • Report any serious Stock issues.

  • Stock rotation from location to location.

  • Goods In.

  • Checking goods are not damaged before signing delivery note.

  • Checking product against Delivery Notes.


    • · Reporting Shortages.

    · Ensuring Goods In areas & Yard are clear and tidy. This role is a physical role working outside in all weathers.
  • Rejects.

  • Reporting rejects to Yard Supervisor.

  • Getting rejects returned to Supplier for credit.

  • All other Tasks.

  • Covering Staff Absences.

  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

    High level of organisation skills.


    • Ability to prioritise workload

    Desirable Skills:

    Profile and Profile codes knowledge

    Forklift experience,
  • Forklift driving: 1 year (preferred)
