Full Job Description

  • You will work closely with our technical team on an engaging mix of software development and devops tasks.

  • You will be required to setup and support our customers' cloud hosting environments. This will involve working with a mix of leading edge cloud service providers and configure best in class security.

  • You will undertake website and software development and testing. This will require troubleshooting and fixing of suspected bugs in the code.

  • Supporting our customers requirements for ecommerce consultancy and technical digital marketing help.


    • Training and qualification levels

    The Level 3 IT Solutions Technician programme is designed to provide the knowledge and skills to develop, implement and maintain complete IT solutions, including their hardware infrastructure. IT Solutions Technicians apply a professional methodology or framework to gather and analyse the requirements in order to design, develop, test and implement the most appropriate IT solutions.

    Modules:

    BCS Level 3 IT Solutions Technician - Methodologies and Principles
    BCS Level 3 IT Solutions Technician - Core Technical IT Knowledge
    BCS Level 3 IT Solutions Technician - Security and Legislation
    Route specific: BCS Level 3 IT Solutions Technician - Software

    Level 3 IT Solutions Technician qualification upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

  • Skills Required


    • A technical mindset and enjoy collaborating and working with people. This requires good communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of some programming languages. Ideally PHP/Javascript but this is not essential. The ideal candidate would have a passion for coding, which would be demonstrated through self learning and ideally some personal projects. Some customer service experience would be good, but not required.
