Days and Hours As and when required during school holiday periods.
Salary £11.44 - £11.74 per hour depending on level of qualification.

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Play Worker to join our team on an 'as and when' basis, covering the school holiday period. The ideal candidate will be someone who is enthusiastic and loves working with children.

+ Can you design science experiments to excite children?
+ Are you happy to have your face painted by a child?
+ Do you know all about playground games, and can you make up new ones?
+ Do you like to laugh at made up jokes?
This role requires the ability to work in a team, sharing ideas and bringing those ideas to life. A genuine respect for our children and families, offering support and guidance, is essential for this role. This role would suit someone that currently works term time only and would like additional hours in the school holidays.
The ideal candidate requires the following skills and qualifications.
+ Educated to Level 2 qualification in Play Work, Education, Youth or Childcare (or equivalent)
+ Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to relate well to children and adults
+ To show a commitment and enthusiasm towards achieving positive outcomes for service users
+ Flexibility to work during school holidays.
