Full Job Description

NHS England are recruiting to our specialist regional leadership role for Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Lead role.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a clinically registered professional with experience working in SEND to help shape services across the region.

We welcome applications from professionals with a current registration with skill and knowledge in this specialist area.

The role's main duties include:

Managing the team's business supportfunction, includingdeveloping and managing the team's annual business plan, progress and dashboard reporting and risk and issue management.

Manage all necessary business returns, includingplanningand workforcereturns.

Develop and implement systems to ensure information is properly managed and best practice issharedacrossthe team, Directorate and the wider NHS organisations as appropriate.

Take a lead in the coordination of trainingand development and recruitment activity across the Department or Directorate.

Oversight and management of allaspectsof the Department or Directoratebudgets

    Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
