School Cleaner (part-time) - daytime

At Green Fox Cleaning, we are seeking an experienced and reliable cleaning operative that takes pride in their work to join our large, friendly cleaning team at Shoreham Academy.

This will be working 11:30am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday (15 hours per week) and will involve working 39 weeks per year term time to include inset days, plus 4 weeks deeper cleaning in school holidays.

This role will be working as a daytime janitor, which will mainly involve the following duties:

• Cleaning and refreshing toilets


• Replenishing toilet rolls and hand towels


• Emptying bins


• Reactive to any incidents via radio (such as spillages etc)

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:


• Sanitising of high touch points



• Routinely check and refresh all toilets, top up consumables (toilet rolls, hand soap)



• Carry the landline and answer calls to respond promptly to any incidents / spillages


What will I do on a typical day?

You will collect your equipment from the cleaning cupboard, and top up supplies as needed.

You will then work your shift, cleaning all areas of the school, completing a high quality clean that you can look back at and be proud of.
