Full Job Description

  • Be responsible for leading repairs and maintenance service, ensuring a fully engaged workforce is equipped to provide a top performing service to tenants.

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the planned maintenance services, are me to all expectations.

  • Provide financial planning support with budget setting and budget optimisation for repairs, maintenance and services delivered by external sub-contractors.

  • Responding to all maintenance issues on a daily basis and prioritise as necessary.

  • Manage preventative maintenance and methodical testing of rooms and equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating and electrical work.

  • Arrange and conduct staff training on equipment and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with legislation and company policy, particularly in relation to health and safety for site work.

  • Plan the preventative and reactive maintenance activities for your site and engage with subcontractors to carry out PPM tasks outside of your abilities.

  • Carry out testing for Legionella Control purposes and keep records of testing up to date.

  • Check that the day-to-day maintenance is up to date and completed to the required standards, and within agreed budget.

  • Produce monthly reports on planned and reactive maintenance.

  • Source and induct appropriate contractors for maintenance work and ensure all work carried out is to the expected standards from start through to completion.

  • Ensure budgetary constraints are adhered to and monitor all invoices for accuracy.

  • Retain a log of calls and maintenance issues and prioritise the resolution as necessary via Fixflo.

  • Be available outside of office hours for emergency cover and business support.

  • In liaison with Management, educate and train all team members in compliance with government and local laws and safety regulations.

  • Ensure staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment to carry out their job duties.

  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for tenants and team members.

  • Lead refresh renovations and other projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure


  • timely completion of projects within budget.
  • Calculate cost of checkouts in respect of damage and cleaning.

  • Co-ordinate repairs and cleaning for empty properties for re let.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    You will have a wealth of experience across electrics, plumbing, mechanical and health codes. Overseeing and delivering against all required maintenance works. The successful applicant will take ownership, use their initiative, and take responsibility for the safety and functionality of the building., Have an ambassadorial and approach with a positive, professional attitude to getting things done.

  • Possess a strong knowledge base of trades and construction/maintenance services.

  • Be a willing team player with a flexible working attitude, with a practical and confident approach to problem solving.

  • A strong work ethic and the desire to continue to learn and grow.

  • A friendly, positive attitude with a flexible approach to working hours.

  • Outstanding attention to detail and a passion for completing high quality work.

  • Flexible and hands on approach, a self-starter who can work on their own.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work fast under pressure to meet deadlines when required., Maintenance: 3 years (preferred)

    Salary and package

  • Full time, permanent position, 40 hours per week

  • Salary commensurate on skills and experience
