Removals Account Manager

The successful candidate will work from a purpose-built location offering a high-end self-storage service to both the general public and trade. We are now looking to recruit a suitable person to act as a client account manager with some general administration., The successful candidate will liaise with our customers and other depots/departments to ensure that email requests, quotations, and bookings are managed efficiently and effectively, assist clients with packing materials sales, and assist the overall smooth running of the business.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities - Including but not limited to:

• Account management from initial enquiry through to job completion and beyond


• Respond promptly to Customers enquiries


• Upselling services to potential clients


• Job input onto a range of Computer systems


• Customer invoicing / Credits


• Problem resolution


• Liaising with vehicle crews and surveyors


• Ensuring that customers expectations are continuously met and exceeded


• Associated marketing and canvassing activities
  
  Literate and numerate


• Excellent written and spoken English


• Able to manage and prioritise own work loads


• Strong customer service skills


• Team player


• Experience of upselling services over the phone (desirable)

Based primarily at the Groups Removals offices in Eastfield, Scarborough, working across the company's three home removals brands in the Group; David Duggleby Movers & Storers, Kidds of Yorkshire, and Sandersons of Boston Spa.

Starting salary of £25,500 pro rata plus a bonus commission programme. Progression available dependant on performance. All training will be provided along with 28 days annual leave pro-rata.
