Production Operative

As Production Operative you'll 'roll your sleeves up and get stuck in' wherever you're needed carrying out a variety of different tasks including:

Operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner.

To carry out maintenance and cleaning of equipment when required.

Fault finding and corrective actions.

Undertake quality control checks.

Completing paperwork / records.

As Production Operative you'll be working on aluminum rolling machines (and there aren't many of those around) so we'll make sure you'll receive all the necessary training to be successful in your role. Experience of working as a Production Operative is a bonus but, as a minimum we're looking for you to demonstrate your:

Ability to follow standard operation instructions.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail. - you'll need to match drawings to extrude profiles.

Basic level of IT literacy i.e. able to use email, use web based system for time and attendance.

Ability to build, maintain effective working partnerships with colleagues - we're a team and better when we work together!

Self-motivated proactive approach to work that is able to demonstrate initiative

If you have any experience of machine setting that's a bonus!

This role does involves physical movement including lifting, bending, twisting and carrying with loads of up to 20kg as a core part of the role.
