Full Job Description

Are you a courteous, enthusiastic and well organised individual? If so an opportunity has arisen for a Post Room Clerk/Administrator in our busy South Liverpool Accountancy practice. The successful person will be providing a professional and efficient service and administrative duties.

You will be expected to deliver a high standard of customer service. The ideal candidate must have previous office experience, possess a good telephone manner and be well presented.

Key responsibilities will include:

Opening incoming post and distributing it to staff;

Sorting redirected post on a daily basis and sending out once a week;

Franking outgoing post;

Answering telephone calls and taking precise messages and transferring/screening all calls in a timely and professional manner;

Cover for reception at lunch times and holidays which will include meeting and greeting clients/visitors on their arrival;

Typing letters and documents;

Scanning and filing documents;

Checking staff timesheets weekly;

Assisting with client record related tasks;

Ad hoc administrative duties as required.
