Full Job Description
The role involves the supervision of team of gas and plumbing operatives, surveyors and contractors providing responsive repairs in council owned dwellings. You will maintain day-to-day management and development of staff under the direction of the Area Trade Manager. You will also be responsible for ensuring a high quality of service, getting work done 'right first time' and achieving high customer satisfaction whilst staying within budgetary targets providing a cost effective, value for money service.
You will hold a relevant ACS Gas qualification, Plumbing NVQ Level 2 or 3 and extensive professional trade experience in plumbing & drainage.
You will also hold a full driving licence.
The post requires a moderate level of fluency. You must have the ability to converse with citizens and provide complex information in accurate spoken English, or through a BSL interpreter.
