Pastoral Leader: Key Stage 3

We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Leader: Key Stage 3 to play an important role in the life and development of the school. The successful candidate will support the students in Year 7, 8 and half of Year 9, and will provide a vital link between home and school. Working under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher (Behaviour and Culture), as well as working with Heads of Year and other Pastoral Staff, you will respond to emerging issues as well as implement appropriate intervention and support so that all students in your care can flourish.

Some of the personal qualities we are looking for include being adaptable, resilient, a team builder and player, highly organised, an excellent communicator, with the ability to inspire and motivate, work calmly under pressure and prioritise workload.

Salary: TA4 SCP 19-22 dependent on experience, £29,777 to £31,364 FTE (pay award pending). Pro-rated to £25,578 to £26,941 term-time only.

Terms and hours: Permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only plus 8 professional training days.

8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 4.00pm Friday (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).,
