Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic member of staff to join our established team of Paediatric Phlebotomists.

The post holder will be required to carry out phlebotomy skills, under both direct and indirect supervision of the Phlebotomy Coordinator and Service Lead, in the Children's Development Centre and in community clinic settings.

To deliver high quality care to paediatric patients / service users in the community and clinic setting

To work flexibly and innovatively to meet the needs of the children , young people and families

Maintain accurate documentation to ensure timely, effective communication and data collection.

Dealing with anxious/ nervous families and patients

Be personally accountable for maintaining skills, knowledge and competence in the use of SystemOne and ICE system

Ensure all clinic rooms are appropriate and fit for use as per trust infection prevention policy
