Full Job Description

Reporting to the New Store Opening Manager, you will manage and coordinate the successful execution of all new store openings, remodels, and relocations within Skechers Retail in the UK and Europe.

Do you have experience in managing a large team at Store Manager level?

If so, we want you to join our team as a 'Skechers New Store Opening Coordinator'.

The New Store Opening Coordinator will work with District and Store Managers through strategic planning and task coordination to ensure new store deadlines are achieved. As well as liaising with store construction, and opening teams through effective communication to manage related tasks to track the opening timeline

This role is field-based and will incorporate extensive travel across the UK & Europe, including attending our Head Office in St Albans as and when required.

  • Experience in managing a large team at Store Manager level.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and all levels of management is essential.

  • Previous experience in opening stores, managing budgets, and strategic planning is desirable.

  • Willingness to work unsociable hours and travel up to approximately 70-90% of the time based on the new store opening schedule.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact and influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders and vendors.

  • Ability to convey complex problems and solutions concisely and succinctly.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple projects.

  • Self-starter who can work on their initiative and offer new ways of working.

  • Proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Additional languages (Desirable)
