Full Job Description
Responsibilities: - To follow routine maintenance needs within the home; repairs to fixtures and fittings, plumping repairs. Utilise the homes online platform for maintenance requests. Ensure these requests are resolved in a timely manner and if out of skill set communicate this effectively to the manager- Maintain accurate records of all work activity. Record health and safety checks. Be kind and compassionate in your approach to residents and team members - Knowledge of electrical systems advantageous but not absolute - knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment. We are keen to speak to applicants who have a drive to learn and are willing to take on new skills- Ability to provide skills in a mulitude of ways and to be able to work autonomously advantageous, in return for our investment into your training and support.
Elmsfield House Ltd is a nursing and residential home with a maximum of 25 residents, based in Holme, near Milnthorpe. We are based 10 minutes drive from Kendal and carnforth, located in a countryside location.
