Become an integral part of the innovative team at Micropress Printers Limited as an Development IT Project Manager. In this role, you'll be at the core of our IT department, managing key projects that impact all business units, while honing your skills in delivering essential IT initiatives., As an Development IT Project Manager at Micropress Printers Ltd, you will oversee and coordinate the execution of various IT projects to enhance the efficiency and performance of our printing operations.

Your role will encompass managing project timelines, ensuring effective resource utilization, and meeting quality standards. You'll work closely with the IT Director and cross-functional teams, including IT and production to align technological solutions with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Management:

· Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management, IT Director, and stakeholders.

· Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

· Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

· Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting as necessary.

Team Coordination & Leadership:

· Lead cross-functional teams including IT specialists, developers, and production staff.

· Assign tasks and provide guidance to team members.

· Foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration.

Stakeholder Communication:

· Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

· Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

· Facilitate project meetings and ensure documentation is maintained.

Technical Implementation:

· Collaborate with the IT Director, IT, and production departments to implement new software or systems.

· Ensure that the technical specifications meet the requirements of the printing production environment.

· Supervise system testing and troubleshoot issues that arise.

Quality Assurance:

· Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and compliance requirements.

· Implement quality assurance protocols and procedures.

Continuous Improvement:

· Evaluate project outcomes for continuous improvement.

· Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.

Other:

· Assist with additional IT tasks, as and when required.

· Proven experience in IT project management, with a focus on software development, infrastructure and technology

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities

· Strong collaboration and influencing skills, across remote and both internal and external stakeholders.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

· Presentation skills, ability to prepare and present to a project.
