Full Job Description
- Supporting the LNG Desk in business development for various shipping and operations projects.
- Assisting the LNG Desk in Energy transition endeavours including greener and alternative fuels (such as bio-LNG, hydrogen and green-ammonia).
- Aiding the LNG Desk in overseeing the development of internal IT systems to manage the growing requirements of the business.
Degree qualified: University Degree, in Energy or Shipping, or Masters' Degree in Shipping Trade and Finance. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to process sophisticated transactions.
- Enthusiastic personality and excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional IT skills in the MS Windows environment (particularly Excel).
- Very good team player, high levels of self-motivation and flexibility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Trading environment and work towards tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of software development and programming languages desirable.

RWE Supply & Trading (RWEST) LNG trading activities keep growing at a global level, with more than 20 Million tons of physical LNG traded last year, and an equivalent amount traded financially.
Having suppliers and customers worldwide including Europe, Middle East, Asia and the Americas. RWE Group, and the LNG Desk in particular, are heavily committed to the energy transition by looking at greener fuels. The LNG Desk covers Physical and Financial Trading as well as operations of a global portfolio, including LNG vessels on time charter.
We are now looking for a Intern for our London office (near Bank of England), to support our LNG Desk in a variety of ways and activities including analysis, commercial and shipping operations. This internship will offer an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, as part of a high performing team with a growing global footprint in the LNG industry., RWE Supply & Trading is the interface between RWE and the energy markets around the world. Around 2,000 employees from over 70 different countries trade electricity, gas, commodities and CO2 emission allowances. The trading entity also ensures the commercial optimisation of RWE's power plant dispatch and markets electricity from RWE.
