Housekeeper / Cleaner

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.


• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries.


• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.


• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and clean windows and mirrors.


• Remove trash and dispose of it appropriately.


• Inventory and Supplies


• Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other room amenities.


• Report any shortages or needs for replacement to the Housekeeping Manager.


• Maintain an organized storage area for housekeeping supplies.


• Guest Interaction


• Provide courteous and professional service to guests.


• Address guest requests and complaints promptly and efficiently.


• Respect guest privacy and property.


• Safety and Compliance


• Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols.


• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.


• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.
  
  Experience


• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.


• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.


• Skills


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.


• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to [specify weight, e.g., 25 pounds].


• Other Requirements


• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.


• Reliable transportation to and from work.


• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
