Full Job Description
The Big Blue Hotel is currently looking to recruit a highly motivated receptionist to join it's team.
You will be assisting in the day-to-day running of the hotel's reception. Working varying shifts covering the reception between 7am - 11pm on an eight hour day basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
Duties will include:-
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Register guests and assign rooms, ensuring all necessary information is obtained.
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests or transfer calls to appropriate departments.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Process payments and maintain guest accounts
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised front desk area.
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. - Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
- Strong hospitality skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multiple phone lines., reception: 1 year (preferred)
