Full Job Description

Look after our two 200 kw biomass boiler systems
- Forwarding timber to be chipped and for firewood
- Forestry based forklift and excavator work as required
- Forestry site clearance, raking, burning, re-planting
- Operate and maintain the equipment and machinery to a high standard
- Help with general arable operations e.g. rolling, topping, hedgecutting
- Help with hay and silage making
- Perform general estate maintenance tasks
- Assist our in house maintenance and building team when required

Experience in farm and forestry work or related field essential
- Knowledge of general agricultural and forestry practices and procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with relevant machinery tools and equipment

Qualifications:

- Rough terrain forklift certificate
- Excavator/360 digger certificate (8t/13t)
- Cross cutting, maintenance and felling certificates
