Full Job Description

Platinum ECO Services Ltd (and its trading brand Platinum Park Home Services) is not like every other business. When you work in our Company, you become a Partner. Becoming a Partner, brings both rewards, and responsibilities; these responsibilities include becoming a custodian of the business, whilst ensuring the adherence to a code of conduct, and a set of values that underpin our business. EOT companies often experience higher levels of success than traditionally run enterprises. When the company excels, the prosperity is shared with its partners

Our rapidly expanding energy efficiency and renewable company is seeking to engage a consultant, who may be able to effectively support our goals and objectives. You will play a key role in overseeing the development of our renewable expansion. As a Company, we provide our clients with specialist and cost-effective improvements for their homes and we work closely with Local Authorities, Charities, and the UK Government to match and deliver funding to those who need it most.

We are looking for a consultant or someone who wants to make a move in their career, by offering consultancy to our business in delivering effective advice and support toward overall carbon reduction programmes, including insulation and renewable technology measures.

  • We are looking for a knowledgeable Consultant to give solid advice and direction in our field of operation. You will be responsible for providing a fresh perspective where applicable. You will explore additional solutions and projects, whether it is proposing, planning, and preparing new projects and opportunities.

  • You are likely to be a consultant with expertise within the Energy Efficiency marketplace, including knowledge of a wide range of energy efficiency/wellbeing/fuel poverty funding mechanisms. Existing and extensive experience in this area is essential, as is the ability to engage with existing stakeholder contacts as well as sourcing new contacts and thereby new potential projects.

  • Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to engage at all levels within an organisation.

  • Excellent abilities in presenting solutions, potential projects, and opportunities, as well as the ability to prepare comprehensive and detailed proposals are required.

  • The goal is to help increase our business revenue, support our business growth, and help us expand our current successful and effective energy efficiency and carbon reduction projects.

  • Some Key Skill Elements Required to Enable this Role
  • A good understanding of the renewable technology sector, in particular; Solar PV/ ASHP's.

  • Experience of developing and implementing projects.

  • It would be advantageous to have pre-established contacts within the industry to help you

  • develop new opportunities.

  • Pre-existing knowledge of UK Government and Local Authority energy efficiency funding, including Energy Company Obligation 4 (ECO4).

  • Industry knowledge.

Estimated Time Commitment to our business: 2-3 days per week

  • Consultancy Rate: From £250 per day depending on experience and contribution to the business

Platinum ECO Services Ltd is proudly an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) Company.
