Full Job Description

  • Effectively support the programme management team to establish and manage the CfW+ grant agreements and delivery plans to ensure quality and value for money.

  • Work with the delivery team to help them build capacity to deliver the programme outcomes.

  • Support with the development and implementation of quality assurance systems, monitoring and review processes for the programme., Safeguarding and protecting children and adults at risk is a high priority for Pembrokeshire County Council. We aim to support vulnerable children and adults at risk to ensure they are as safe as they can possibly be. We are committed to ensuring their safety and will take action to safeguard their well-being. The Council's Corporate Safeguarding Policy provides a framework for every member of staff and Service within the Council, setting out responsibilities in relation to safeguarding and protecting children and adults at risk as well as the methods by which the Council will be assured that it is fulfilling its duties.


  • This policy applies to all Council employees and workforce, councillors, volunteers and also service providers that are commissioned by the Council. Safeguarding is everyone's business whether they work for, or on behalf of, the Council.

    Experience of working in a programme support role, including assisting with purchase and supply, monitoring of financial claims, updating spreadsheets and databases, producing reports and minutes of meetings, diary management and other general duties required to support the team.

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of delivery partners both external and internal to the organisation. .

    The successful candidate will work as a member of the wider team at Futureworks and it is essential that they work well in a team environment. Candidates should be enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated, with excellent IT Skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook, knowledge of financial systems is an advantage.
