Full Job Description

Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Area Cleaning Manager to join our business, overseeing delivery and supporting the field based elements of SBFM's service provision to our prestigious client, Puregym.
The role of Area Manager will involve daily travel to sites within your allocated area, which include locations in South London, Kent, and Brighton.
Role will include:

  • Working as part of a UK wide Management team to ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction as per agreed KPI's

  • Driving staff engagement through delivery of training, inductions and regular feedback

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally

  • Ensure all cleaners are operating inline with H&S legislation

  • Completion of site audits inline with agreed SLA

  • Completing stock checks and following internal ordering process to ensure sites are equipped with required products

  • Promoting and enforcing the use of clocking systems

  • Support with recruitment and utilisation of other employees to cover any gaps in service delivery, completing the clean yourself if no cover is readily available

  • Supporting with mobilisation tasks, including site visits, consultations, inductions and training

  • Support with recruitment and local candidate attraction

  • Responding to ad-hoc requests from Senior Management

  • Escalating any issues or concerns to the Regional Operations Manager

    A full clean drivers licence

  • Previous experience of a supervisory or Management role within cleaning / soft FM services

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

  • A proactive, solution driven approach

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workloads

  • Flexible attitude towards work requirements
