Active Travel Design Officer

This role will be based out of Keynsham and flexible working patterns are available.

About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our Active Communities Team to help to shape the active travel network across Bath and North East Somerset. We currently have unprecedented investment in active travel projects and are looking to develop a pipeline of schemes that will enable us to implement our ambitious Active Travel Masterplan.

The Active Communities Team work on a range of active travel and behaviour change projects and it is expected that the Active Travel Design Officer will work closely with colleagues to strengthen our existing collaborative style of working and design schemes that meet the requirements of all of our residents.

We are looking for a motivated individual who can identify and develop new active travel projects that meet national design standards and work closely with our stakeholders and partners.

We are looking for a well organised, passionate individual with excellent design, communication and presentation skills.
