Full Job Description

  • Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing

  • Scheduling client appointments and managing important departmental deadlines

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed customer records and creating new customer accounts

  • Building a good rapport with clients and providing ad hoc reports to the COO and board

  • Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations

  • Making Weekly payment runs

  • Preparing and entering journals into the system

  • Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties

  • Review and monitor schedules & bookings for the 3G pitch


  • There is an opportunity to work within the wider club, including supporting match day activities

    Supporting Lewes FC in being a financially prudent and progressive club

    The football club have a tier 3 Women's team and a tier 7 Men's team. Providing accurate

    information off the pitch will help with the preparation and performance on it

    Month End reporting runs efficiently and smoothly

    Deadlines are met in a timely manner

    Maintain close relationships with our partners and suppliers

    All applicants must have specific Safeguarding and Protecting Children / FA Safeguarding Children qualifications and a DBS Clearance / Enhanced FA CRC check before starting the role.,
  • Analytical thinking skills and strong numerical skills are essential.


  • Ability to communicate with various stakeholders and knowledge of Microsoft excel


  • Experience of using Xero is a positive but not essential


  • Good Communication skills and a positive working attitude


  • Solutions-oriented and quick thinker


  • Open to travel and working weekends and week-nights


  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and account


  • Capable of working effectively within strict deadlines and a fast-paced environment
