360 excavator operator / groundworker

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating a varied range of machinery, and managing a small team. Your primary role will be to install waste waster treatment systems and all asociated pipework/services. Experience in this sector would be an advantage but not critical, on the job training will be provided.

Duties:

- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to perform excavation and earthmoving tasks

- Safely and efficiently dig trenches, foundations, and other excavations according to project specifications

- Load and unload materials using the excavator's bucket or other attachments

- Perform routine maintenance on the excavator to ensure its proper functioning

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or damage to equipment

- Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion

- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

Proven experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment maintenance procedures

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- UK Driving Licence
