Visitor Experience Manager

The Visitor Experience Manager is a key role in the structure of Painshill working closely with the Head of Visitor and Commercial Operations to oversee various duties of the visitor experience to ensure that every visitor to Painshill has an exceptional day out.

The Visitor Experience Manager will ideally have experience in the heritage/visitor/hospitality sector with the ability to balance a range of priorities and a busy workload, and have the confidence to manage any eventuality.

Painshill is regarded as one of the foremost and finest examples of the English Landscape Movement. Created by the Hon. Charles Hamilton as a living painting, Painshill invites the visitor to walk around a work of art to discover the landscape in 160 acres of dramatic follies, calming waters and stunning views.

Painshill has reached a stage in its evolution where the Trust is now planning for the next stage in its growth. The challenges to be met include developing the visitor experience and associated visitor facilities to ensure the highest quality in all that is undertaken.
