Vehicle Technician

Depending on your skill level and experience the role will involve:

• Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work


• Complete electrical and engine repair work


• Meet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessary


• Carry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried out


• Using advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand


• Ability to complete a Vehicle Health Checks


• Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety
  
  Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent


• Ideally with at least 2 years' experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing, maintenance and basic diagnostics


• Workshop experience either in a main dealership or independent garage


• MOT Licence and / or experience would be an advantage but not essential


• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence, Vehicle Technician: 2 years (preferred)

• Driving Licence (required)


• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Qualification (required)

• Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm


• Saturdays 8.30am - 12.30pm (1 in 4 and paid as overtime)


• Flexible or different working patterns to the above are possible if preferred


• Part time roles are also available


• Overtime is available if wanted


Salary

• Basic Salary £31,000 - £40,000


• Plus very generous uncapped bonus scheme - we have Technicians earning £15,000 to £20,000 extra per year!


• There's great earning potential with OTE £50,000 +
