Full Job Description

New College Doncaster is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of English to teach one or more of these A Level courses; A Level English Language, A Level English Literature, A Level English Language and Literature. The department also delivers a small amount of GCSE English resit.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject and have the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16 - 19 range. With a demonstrable record of outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training, you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post 16 teaching.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join our dynamic team at the forefront of change and to make a real difference to raising standards of education in the local community. New College Doncaster delivers primarily A Level provision, alongside a number of Level 3 applied general qualifications and a very small amount of Level 2 provision.
