Social Worker Assistant

Contribute to the In-Patient Unit MDT and care planning sessions. To support the carers support sessions and provide individual support and advice to carers as required. You'll be working closely with the Rennie Grove Peace social worker, Outpatients and In-Patient Unit teams and benefits advice service. Attend daily planning sessions with the Rennie Grove Peace social worker.

Attend relevant meetings as appropriate, supporting the role of the Social Worker within the MDT. To work closely with the Senior Social Worker and the Supportive Care team. To build good relationships with Social Services staff in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. To become familiar with carer support available and promote links with the families we service.

To become familiar with a range of benefits advice and grants available for a wide range of diagnoses.
