Skilled Team Member

We are currently looking for 2 individuals to join our team in Factory 1 as Skilled Team Members. As a SkilledTeam Member, you will play a crucial role in demonstrating your knowledge of food safety, health & safety and mechanical aptitiude in this key role supporting the Preparation for products for multiple supermarket and retail customers.

The successful candidates will be responsible to effectively manage day to day area issues to ensure manufacturing performance.

Duties:

· Carry out pre-start safety checks on machinery to be used.

· Complete short interval control (SIC) boards.

· Ensure all metal detections are carried out as and when required and recorded H/C.

· Ensure all average weight checks are carried out as and when required and recorded / Calculated. Final average weight to be on or above declared weight target H/C.

· Ensure all label checks are carried out and recorded as and when required.

· To ensure job rotation within the area.

· Ensure all downtime is recorded and actioned immediately through either direct contact with the on-Shift engineer or through your chain of command.

· Ensure all paperwork is completed in full, any mistakes crossed out once and initialled and all paperwork is the correct issue.

· To ensure GMP standards are adhered to.

· to control breaks of all staff working on their line.

· Food Safety & Health & Safety Level 2

· Knowledge of or Level 2 HACCP and Allergen control & management

· Have experience of the food industry, preferably chilled food manufacture.

· To have the ability to communicate at all levels of the business (Verbal, written, listening, influencing).

· Have good problem-solving skills and the ability to run machinery and have basic knowledge of the equipment in use.

· The ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.,
