  • If so, you could be perfect as our Senior Finance Manager, Mobile Sector Wholesale, based in either London, Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester.

    This role is crucial in coordinating a team to provide financial, commercial, and strategic insights, shaping commercial propositions for our new business, and influencing the Mobile sector's performance.

    Within Commercial Finance, a team of three partners with Sales Directors on new business, leads financial and commercial strategy for Mobile Infrastructure sector deals, and works closely with Commercial and Product to align business case development and strategic direction.

    For Finance Business Partnering, a team of two prepares and reports financial and volume forecasts, manages commercial contracts, and provides financial analysis, insight, and recommendations. They ensure the in-life P&L is aligned to the bid P&L and optimised throughout, as well as spearheading external engagement with customer Finance leads.

    You'll have the following responsibilities
  • Takes accountability for discreet and/or complex bids within the Mobile sector.

  • Produce P&L and cash flow for all complex and non-standard deals.

  • Produce scenario and sensitivity modelling, assuring appropriate investment appraisal for BT.

  • Influence commercial deal strategy.

  • Identify and quantify financial risk, a key input to the bid decision making process.

  • Support and provide recommendations into customer negotiations.

  • Contribute to the production of Financial Schedules.

  • Business case development for new product launches

  • Provide insight and feed into the wider team for budgeting/forecasting purposes.

  • Provide insight through research and understand implications on the sector.

  • Utilise internal commercial insight and latest external thinking to develop and implement ideas that benefit BT.

  • Problem solve to achieve business unit plans, providing expertise and insight to support bold decisions.

    Senior Stakeholder experience and experience working within matrixed environments.

  • Experience of working with multiple teams to deliver bid proposals and win deals, demonstrating commercial acumen.

  • Ability to interpret financials into meaningful insight to inform conclusions.

  • Demonstrate ability to manage a team, coaching them to achieve their full potential.

  • Ability to operate under the pressure of a deadline driven sales environment.

  • Be willing to voice your throughs and look at 'the art of the possible'.

  • Able to effectively navigate through complexity, make bold recommendations and present in a clear and concise manner to senior stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate a very high level of analytical capability.

  • Member of an accounting professional body e.g. ICAEW, CIMA, ACC
