Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Repairs Customer Advisor to join our Responsive Repairs and Voids team. Within this role, you will assist our delivery teams to cover responsive, compliance and defects work, through the effective distribution of works, collation of paperwork and management of information to key stakeholders.

Working as part of a newly established team, the role will be the first point of contact for Sage Homes' customers through various communication channels including phone, email and other digital formats. The role will then coordinate the delivery and management of various responsive repairs, compliance and defects works and manage the relationships with all internal and external suppliers including contractors.

Please note this role will require the successful candidate to work in our Northampton office on a full time basis.

Duties include:

  • Call handling; dealing directly will all customer interactions via phone, email and other digital formats in line with our digital first omni channel service model.

  • Assist and support the Repairs, Compliance and Defects departments in managing and delivering repairs/works requirements.

  • Scheduling works activities with contractors and arranging access.

  • Ensuring contractors submit all relevant documentations and evidence upon completion of works.

  • Closing all completed jobs on all systems and ensuring all relevant folders are updated with the required certification.

  • Assigning work to contractors within a set time frame and informing residents of attendance where applicable, ensuring appointments suits all parties.

  • Raising authorised works orders for contractors.

  • All administrative tasks inc. Email correspondence with contractors, colleagues, and managing agents, excel spreadsheet maintenance and diary management.

  • Promote good working relationships with your colleagues and the company's contractors.

    Experience of providing an excellent customer-focused service preferably within housing, facilities, construction or similar

  • Property maintenance knowledge is highly desirable

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as a team member

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Organised and efficient administration skills

  • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office, Teams and CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics)
