Full Job Description

A highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager is required to oversee all aspects of the home's care and operations for providing Outstanding Quality residential childcare. The successful candidate will have full responsible for the leadership and management of the residential services for children and young people (8 to 17years)., Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment with a can do attitude.
-Client Care: Oversee the development and implementation of individualised care plans, ensuring the highest quality of care for each client.
-Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing home care services.
-Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise CareAngels and office staff, promoting professional development and a culture of excellence.
-Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care services, implementing improvements as needed to enhance overall quality.
-Client and Family Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing support.
-Budget Management: Manage the home care budget effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and resource optimisation.
-Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on the performance of home care services to senior management.

2 years' leadership and management experience within Children's homes (Registered Manager or Deputy Manager).
5 years' experience working in the Health & Social Care sector.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children's Residential Services.
Educated to a degree level or equivalent.
