Production Warehouse Technician

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support our operations team, working 12 hour shifts - day and nights - with hours split across Monday to Thursday, meaning no weekend work is required. Also, there are regular overtime opportunities, if desired. The Production Warehouse Technician, reporting to the Team Leader, would be responsible for the packing desk functions, from health & safety and following processes & procedures through to the quality and accuracy of finished goods. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual from a production or warehouse background looking to join a well-established company that is growing year on year. This role has lots of day-to-day variety to it, working closely as part of a team as well as using initiative when working alone.

Responsibilities will include:

• Working in accordance with the company's health and safety and manufacturing practice


• Processing production documentation and accurately recording data on our computer system


• Conducting routine quality checks to ensure high standards of finished goods packaging


• Maintaining high standards in line with our quality accreditation


• Ensure the finished goods are packed safely and accurately in line with our customer expectations


• Conducting start of shift checks and following procedures as per customer requirements


• Regular communication with the team leader


• Supporting the warehouse function as and when required


• Take a full active part in all aspects of training
  
  Ability to work alone and accurately record data


• Previous experience of working in a production or warehouse environment would be advantageous


• Excellent attention to detail


• Having a FLT licence would be preferred
