Full Job Description
- Remove and Refit Transmissions and Drive Train Components
- Liaising with office staff and other colleagues
- General cleaning of own work area
- Preparing the garage for work in a morning and at night
- Preform diagnostics/road tests on vehicles
- A passion for the motor trade
- Works well in a team based environment
- Able to work under your own initiative in a safe manner
- Be able to follow a job-sheet system which outlines what needs to be done on each vehicle
- Someone who is wanting to deliver to push themselves in a challenging part of the trade
- Someone who has experience with motor vehicles
- Full UK Driving License required

We have been remanufacturing and rebuilding manual and automatic transmissions for over 25 years and as we all know there is no substitute for knowledge and experience., Mister Gearbox Ltd are looking to recruit a Technician. In this role you will be required to remove and refit transmissions, differentials and transfer units for manual and automatic vehicles, carrying out diagnostics on vehicles using state of the art scanners including dealership tools/software and your own knowledge to give an accurate description of faults and proceeding to fix them.
This is a full time position and the working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm.
