Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a HR Advisor to join the HR team and advise employees on the appropriate use of HR processes, tools and policies at an operational level. This is a Monday - Friday role, working 8:30am-4:30pm.

The key duties and responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Respond to employee and manager queries

  • Advise managers on the application of HR policies, ensuring all procedures are compliant

  • Support managers with formal meetings, ensuring a fair and reasonable process is followed at all times

  • Monitor and review absence and ongoing casework, ensuring appropriate action is taken

  • Ensure all HR processes are accurately documented

  • Support managers with performance improvement and engagement initiatives

  • Monitor and review KPI data, looking for trends and areas of improvement

  • Recruitment activity such as advertising, liaising with recruiters, assisting with interviews and ensuring all new starters have a positive onboarding experience

  • Ensure compliance with all occupational health requirements, including scheduling of clinics and processing appropriate referrals

  • Promote employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives

  • Produce and publish employee communications

  • Provide input into the review of HR policies and procedures

  • Assist with the implementation of HR projects

  • Other administrative duties

    Previous experience dealing with ER issues

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritise effectively

  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels, cross-functionally

  • Approachable, reliable and attentive

  • Well organised and proactive

  • Excellent communicator
