The Campus:

OneSchool Global UK Biggleswade Campus is located in a market town in Central Bedfordshire, which lies on the River Ivel. Our campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology, ensuring that both online and face-to-face classes are catered for outstandingly. Our learning areas are thoughtfully designed to inspire innovation and create a future-ready environment for all students. We take pride in our small school atmosphere, providing personalised attention to our 200 students from Year 3 to Year 12.

The Position:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and interactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the OSG Bigglewade campus team on a full time, term time only, permanent basis. You will be adept at coaching our students through challenges in their learning, so they make the best possible progress in each and every lesson.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role in the provision of support for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

  • Support students within all ability classrooms.

  • Provide 1:1 support and intervention where needed.

  • To work with the LSCO/ RSENCO and other teachers to develop and implement Pupil passports/ILPs/MSP.

  • To act as Key Worker for identified pupils, regularly liaising with parents and staff to ensure progress against Learning Plan targets


  • You will have:
  • Experience of working with children of relevant age in a learning environment

  • A good working knowledge and experience of implementing national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes.

  • An understanding of SEND procedures and application thereof.

  • A willingness to undertake appropriate professional development and positively participate in the appraisal of own performance.

  • Excellent communication skills and be able to co-operate effectively and positively with specialists from outside agencies where applicable.
