Full Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a role within the clinical neurophysiology service at BWC and the MEG service at Aston University. The post-holder will share their time between the two departments and develop a clinical pipeline for our surgical patients as well looking at other clinical pathways.

The post-holder will be working with clinicians, researchers as well as key partners in the continued development of a MEG service., This role is designed to give leadership and clinical expertise in the highly complex peri and intra operative monitoring service. The post holder will:

  • Perform a range of specialist healthcare science clinical, technical and scientific activities

  • Provide expert advice, opinion and training to own and other professionals in the field of complex neurophysiological investigations including MEG and will initiate and undertake research in this specialist field

  • Provide specialist training to own or other disciplines and lead/manage the MEG team
