City College Norwich is the largest provider of teaching, learning and assessment across Norfolk, educating almost a third of the counties’ 16 – 19-year-olds. Based over 4 main campuses, we deliver across all curriculum sectors , education levels and funding streams with a strong commitment to inclusivity and to do what Norfolk needs us to do.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of pedagogy and to impact on positive outcomes for our colleagues, our students and apprentices. Working closely with the Vice Principal, Curriculum and Quality, you will work effectively  across college and with the Heads of Area, to support and implement the quality cycle. You will contribute to our regular TLA CPD and staff development days; lead the teaching and learning coaches.

You will also lead and manage the Personal Development Lead and Coaches and our Digital Learning team. You will relish teaching and learning and have a passion for developing curiosity and knowledge in others. Working through communities of practices you will support our College approach of learning from and with each other.

If you wish to discuss the role, please contact Vicki Forbes to arrange an informal chat with Jo Kershaw, Vice Principal Curriculum and Quality

As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
