Full Job Description
- Supervise and support the kitchen team in doing all aspects of the work
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and hygiene is maintained at all times
- Support the team with washing all cooking utensils, pots and crockery through the day as required
- Manage the chemical and disposables supplies
- Manage the refuse and recycling store to keep organised and tidy
- Unloading deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment
- Kitchen close down at the end of the day
The Livermead House Hotel is looking for a Head Kitchen Porter to join our renowned kitchen team. Previous experience of supervision would be important, someone who is a team player, able to stay calm at busy periods, and a 'can-do' personality is essential., Supervisory skills - Good work ethic, reliable and take pride in work
- High standards of work set for the team, and excellent attention to detail
- Enjoy working as part of a team in a busy fast paced environment
- Flexible in relation to the days and hours of work, with split shifts
- Previous experience working within a similar environment
- Smart appearance, and ability to stay calm at busy times, Supervision in a Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
This role does involve working weekends and bank holidays and involves split shifts ( each shift is normally 4 hours. - On-site parking

For an experienced supervisory candidate, the Company will pay at the top end of the pay range.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £11.44-£11.95 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
