Full Job Description

As a Finance Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing a system change from our current software (Homecare) to a new software (Care HQ). This is a critical project aimed at enhancing our operational efficiency and ensuring seamless financial management within our care homes.,

  • Initially understand credit control and manage aged debt across 2 Homes.

  • Act as the finance lead for system testing and roll out.

  • Ensure implementation of reporting meets business needs.

  • Ensure successful integration with other Finance Systems.

  • Ensure the team is fully trained on the new system.

  • Reconcile between Current Sales & Credit Control system to new System.

  • Ensure the new system has all required functions prior to roll out, including invoicing, allocations, direct debit collections, and credit control module.

  • Understand funding arrangements and ensure these are appropriately factored into the new system build (e.g., 1:1 billing, contract beds, etc.).

    ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant preferable, but not essential.

  • Academically strong.

  • Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office essential, particularly Excel, comfortable working with advanced formulae and pivot tables.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
