Full Job Description

This person will co-ordinate and support all aspects of the attraction, recruitment, onboarding and development of the SJP Early in Careers Programmes. This role spans all aspects of Early in Careers and will be the main point of contact internally and externally for SJP programmes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the EiC Attraction & Recruitment Partners in creating a yearly events calendar showing all activities/timelines to deliver the EiC programmes.

  • Assist in creating and setting up EiC events which will include booking venues and external speakers, manage the online candidate application portal & oversee candidate registrations.

  • Collate feedback from participants of all events to understand where improvements could be achieved.

  • Assist the business and Partnership with work experience enquires and ensure that all work experience students are onboarded into the business & compliant.

  • Be the SME for queries, offering exceptional customer service for all candidates and line managers through the EiC share point site and EiC email inbox.

  • Responsible for setting up all final stage interviews across all EC programmes with line managers.

  • Collaborate with the HR People Services team to ensure the onboarding experience for all EiC hires is best in class.

  • Admin management for assessment centres including sourcing assessors and booking event spaces.

  • Monitor and record learning and development activity for all EiC employees & attend events onsite and offsite as required.

  • Support EiC Delivery Manager with management of DofE ambassadors until completion of programme in 2023.

  • Collaborate with the talent MI & Data partner to ensure there is Integrity in EC data and reports., Non-Contributory Pension - 10% (increasing with length of service up to 15%) with further pension matching.

  • Parental leave - 6 months full pay

  • 28 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays (based on full-time equivalent) with the option to buy up to an additional 5 days holiday

  • Knowledge of recruitment from either Early Career or experienced hiring background.

  • Experience of setting up and overseeing the successful delivery of recruitment events.

  • Previous experience providing feedback to candidates & line leaders following assessments.

  • Previous experience in working with large data sets and drawing insights.

  • Experience of working in a fast paced and multi-faceted role where conflicting timescales and priorities are common.

  • Confident user of MS products, eg Excel, PowerPoint, MS forms.

  • Understand the benefits of automation and how processes can be improved.

  • Understanding of the services and products SJP provides.

  • Able to build strong relationships with line managers, candidates and colleagues across the business.

  • Accurate, timely and clear communicator - able to work pro-actively.
