Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Learning Resource Centres (LRC) Team at Exeter College as a Digital Learning Resource Advisor (DLRA).

The DLRA's are the first point of contact for visitors to our LRCs. Our DLRA's also lead on the delivery of Study Skills support for our learners through 1:1 and group support, which includes workshop delivery. The LRCs are an extension of the classroom, and DLRA's role is instrumental in signposting to a range of online and physical LRC services.

Candidates should be enthusiastic to produce a range of resources that support study skills and digital skills, in varied formats to suit learner need. Candidates would benefit from experience in delivering group or 1:1 support, presentations or workshops, however successful candidates will have the opportunity to complete The Award in Education Qualification.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent IT and communication skills, and be confident when troubleshooting issues for students and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service across a range of contexts to build positive relationships with both learners and colleagues. Candidates will be proactive and confident to work autonomously but will also work well as part of a small team, as well as supporting the wider department as needed.

They will be required to work flexibly including some evenings at college and events.

If you feel you can make a real difference to the lives of young people and support the college to promote learning opportunities, we look forward to hearing from you
