Full Job Description

The Commercial Finance Business Partner will be an integral part of the finance team, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial, analytical, and business support. This role will be focused on driving profitable growth by providing market insights, analysing business performance, and supporting the development of business wide strategy.,

  • Provide market insights impacting PHOENIX activities, analysing revenue trends, and quantifying P&L impacts.

  • Utilise management information systems to assess business performance, supporting profitability and strategy.

  • Challenge the Management Team on performance and offer corrective action insights.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and provide analytical support for projects and investments.

  • Analyse investment opportunities, provide accounting data, and support acquisition transitions.

  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers on pharmacy loan guarantee scheme proposals.

  • Maintain focus on profitable margins and costs, while generating ad hoc management information.

  • Demonstrate company values driving performance, customer excellence, and employee engagement.

    Phoenix Medical Supplies are looking for an experienced, driven and dynamic finance professional to join our team due to a period of growth., Experienced finance professional

  • Either ACCA or CIMA qualified or close to qualifying

  • Project management skills or qualifications would be an advantage

  • Demonstrated success in proposing, justifying, initiating, and implementing change at all levels of a large organisation.

  • Experience in building sound business cases to support business objectives.

  • Ability to work effectively in high pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Proven experience in performing root cause analysis, developing, and implementing process improvements and robust controls.


  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Ability to prioritise complex projects, self motivate, and work to strict deadlines and targets.

  • Strong business knowledge and commercial acumen.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Financial systems knowledge and experience, preferably SAP.

  • Dynamic personality with excellent relationship-building abilities, able to challenge and support colleagues constructively.
