Full Job Description
As a Cleaning Operative, your primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for occupants and visitors. You will be tasked with performing a range of cleaning duties, adhering to established protocols and safety procedures to deliver high-quality results.,
- Cleaning Tasks: Execute various cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces to maintain cleanliness across designated areas.
- Sanitization: Thoroughly sanitize surfaces including desks, countertops, door handles, and other frequently touched areas to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect restroom facilities such as toilets, sinks, shower cubicles and bath tubs.
- Stock Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring an adequate stock level to facilitate efficient cleaning operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on cleaning equipment and report any faults or malfunctions for prompt repair or replacement.
- Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks, report issues, and ensure seamless workflow.
- Flexibility: Be adaptable and willing to undertake additional tasks or adjust work schedules as required to accommodate specific cleaning needs or unforeseen circumstances.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
