Audio Engineer / Producer

As an audio engineer you will work on all aspects of audio, from recording production sound on location, recording voice over in studio and mixing and mastering audio in post-production. You will work closely with the directors, camera crew and editors to see a project through to completion.

Your day-to-day tasks will be varied and fast paced, making good organisation essential. You will constantly face new challenges, so it is important that you are willing to adapt and learn.

Responsibilities

. Recording clean intelligible audio on sets and in studio

· Setting up, preparing and maintaining sound equipment

We are are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Audio Engineer to join our growing audio department. Previous experience in an Audio role is preferred, however some on-the-job training can be provided., · Proficient knowledge of basic audio equipment such as microphones, audio interfaces and recorders

· Experience in music composition & production.

· A good understanding of compression, EQ and time-based effects

· Experience using Protools/Adobe Audition or a similar DAW

. An understanding of post-production workflows and audio mixing

. Good organisation & time management skills

· Ability to communicate effectively and co-ordinate with other departments
